Description
This humorous and engaging book tells the story of an Italian visitor who travels to America and explores his home country, reflecting on the oddity of what he finds in each place. Through the eyes of his perceptive imaginary traveler, Franco Nasi reminds us of the fundamental strangeness of the world when viewed with fresh eyes.
The space between experience and our attempts to put it into words is where melancholy and disenchantment often arise, according to Nasi. This brief book explores the gap between languages and the spaces that both unite and divide us.
