Description
The Wandering Celt is a work of immense scholarship and ambition, tracing the history and movements of the Celts from their creation to their enduring influence on contemporary Europe.
Desmond O'Grady's collection weaves together a rich tapestry of cultures, including the Semites, Greeks, Romans, and Arabs, as he explores the complex relationships between these groups. A notable feature is the inclusion of an entirely new translation of The Song of Songs.
A poet and scholar with extensive travel experience, O'Grady brings his expertise to this ambitious work, which has been out of print for some years. This reissue offers a rare opportunity to engage with one of Ireland's most respected poets.
