Description
The Morgan 3 Wheeler - Back to the Future! Updated and Revised Paperback Edition by Peter Dron. In the early 21st century, the Morgan Motor Company made a bold decision to return to its roots with a new three-wheeled vehicle, the M3W. This move was driven by the need to adapt to increasingly restrictive legislation on emissions and accident safety in the USA, which had become prohibitively expensive for a small manufacturer like Morgan. The result of this decision was an astonishingly short design and engineering process, which culminated in the launch of the Liberty Ace at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. To everyone's surprise, orders flooded in, leading to considerable complications. This book tells the story behind the creation of the M3W, a quintessentially English car that has become an iconic symbol of British eccentricity. The Morgan 3 Wheeler - Back to the Future! is a fascinating account of innovation, design, and the challenges faced by a small manufacturer in meeting changing regulations.
