Description

The Actor is a satirical comedy that follows the story of Joy Attwood as she navigates the world of acting. Despite her circumstances, Joy is determined to behave like a professional and land her role in the new sequel, Jesus Christ Social Media Star. However, with everything working against her, Joy must confront the challenges of the cutthroat industry and her own anxious nature.

As Pat Cake helps Joy navigate the world of acting, she discovers that the bright lights of the stage may not be as gleaming as they seem. With the adoring public watching her every move, Joy's biggest challenge may come from getting too involved with the subject she's following. Will she be able to survive the day under the spotlight?
