Description
A new year brings fresh beginnings for three teenagers. Emma has spent the summer reinventing herself in Paris and is eager to start her new life, while Lily is excited to reconnect with her after a long time apart. However, their plans are disrupted when a party fuels a long-awaited encounter between Emma and Chris, Lily's older brother. The next day, Emma feels that something went terribly wrong. A doctor's appointment and a visit from police confirm that there was a sexual assault at the party, and the whole school turns against Emma. As the three friends grapple with what actually happened, they must navigate the complexities of relationships and community. This smart and intense play opens up a much-needed conversation about the nature of consent, forcing its characters to confront the consequences of their actions and the true meaning of friendship.
