The official version of the Sagrada Biblia, as approved by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, presents the same biblical text in its entirety as the standard edition, but in a more compact format with shorter introductions and fewer notes. This translation will be used in liturgy, catechisms, and teaching manuals for religious education in schools. The goal of making this reference tool widely available was to make it accessible to all economic levels, particularly for parishes, schools, associations, and other pastoral centers. The aim is to provide the Sacred Scripture in a way that can be easily shared with children and young people who are starting their faith journey, as well as adult believers seeking to nourish their Christian life through Scripture. The project was entrusted to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of the Incarnate Word, whose testimony is found throughout the Bible.
