Description
Roni Horn presents Dog's Chorus, a new group of drawings that reassemble fragments of text into cumulative compositions. Building on her 2016 work Th Rose Prblm, Horn cuts apart original drawings and reassembles them to create complex, changeable pieces. In Dog's Chorus, Horn combines a line from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar with common idioms, playfully questioning the meanings of language and identity. This new body of work continues her exploration of the relationship between text and image.
