Researching Beneath the Surface: Psycho-social Research Methods in Practice The social sciences have undergone significant changes since the 1990s, challenging traditional models of human rationality and the familiar split between individual and society. As a result, new approaches have emerged, incorporating psychoanalytic concepts and principles to illuminate core issues within the social sciences.
