Description
Milo lives on board the magical train, the Quip, which uses the power of imagination to travel through both Story and the real world. His uncle, Horatio, owns the train and has been involved in some shady dealings as a book smuggler. When Horatio takes on a new job, he needs Milo's help, along with Tilly Pages, who owes him a favour. However, when poisoned copies of The Wizard of Oz are sent to Horatio and Tilly's grandfather, sending them both into deep sleeps, Milo and Tilly must work together to save them. Their journey takes them on an adventure that involves rocketing through the air in pursuit of the mysterious Alchemist, visiting the Emerald City with Dorothy, and eventually arriving in Venice, Italy. As they try to uncover the truth behind the poisoned books, they begin to question the very essence of imagination and story itself. Can they save their grandfather and restore the power of imagination before it's too late?
