Description
A murder has been committed in Irendale, a village high on the Yorkshire moors. Kitt Hartley wakes to the news that her boyfriend's ex-wife was also murdered years ago, with a similar MO. Unable to leave it to the local police, Kitt and her boyfriend travel to Irendale to solve the case. The investigation leads to a line of Anglo-Saxon poetry found on the victim, which in turn reveals a cryptic clue. As they dig deeper, they uncover more clues, including runic symbols carved into the victims' hands.
