Description
In 1924, the Commission for Borders had to decide exactly where to draw the line between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic. With time running out, they wanted to grab a pint before closing time. To help them, everyone grabbed a large pencil and drew a line - but fate decided it would pass right over a village called Puckoon.
This humorous account of how the border was drawn is based on real events from 1924. The story showcases the absurdity of the situation and the people involved in drawing the line.
