Description
Embodied Relational Gestalt Theories and Applications by Michael Craig Clemmens This book explores Gestalt as a somatic and relational practice, examining our relationships with nature, the role of Eros, energy in Taoism, affect, and methods of practice. A range of theoretical and practical approaches are presented, along with case studies from the contributors' own work. The author's central idea is that our bodies are deeply embedded and co-creating with their environment, and that we come to know ourselves and the world through our embodiment. This book offers a detailed exploration of Gestalt as a holistic practice that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Through its examination of various aspects of Gestalt, this book provides a nuanced understanding of the relationship between the individual and their surroundings.
