Description

Derek Stenning's recent years have been marked by personal and professional challenges. A terminal illness in his family led to him taking on a primary caregiving role, while excessive work and injury left him burnt out. To cope with the stress, he turned to his Entartete Kunst series, which had previously brought him creative renewal. In this latest collection, Stenning revisits some of these pieces, as well as new material from model kit design, production paintings, personal commissions, and a resin statue project. By completing this work, he aims to reclaim the artistic time lost during that period. EK2: The Lost Years offers a unique glimpse into Stenning's creative process and his efforts to rebuild after a difficult time.
