Description
Afore Night Come explores the darker side of rural life in the Black Country. In a pear orchard, the harvest is ripe and familiar tasks are settled into by seasoned hands. However, the land itself seems to be yielding a bitter crop.
As the weather turns and friction mounts, the use of pesticides becomes increasingly prevalent. This powerful play by David Rudkin delves into the complexities of human relationships in a world where nature is being ravaged.
This edition of Afore Night Come features 112 pages of thought-provoking drama that challenges readers to consider the consequences of our actions on the natural world.
