Description
A collection of crime stories set in Zagreb, each one by a different Croatian writer. This anthology brings together brand-new tales translated from Croatian, offering a unique perspective on contemporary Croatia. Eastern European history is filled with noir-ish and harrowing stories, and the city of Zagreb has its own share of dark tales. Editor Ivan Sršen has curated a diverse group of stories that provide insight into the lives of modern Croatians. Featuring translations by Ivan Vidic, Josip Novakovich, Andrea Zigic-Dolenec, Robert Perisic, Mima Simic, Pero Kavesic, Nada Gasic, Zoran Pilic, Ruzica Gasperov, Darko Milosic, Nora Verde, and Ivan Sršen himself, this anthology is a powerful exploration of the city's darker side.
