Description
Young Projects Figure, Cast, Frame This monograph by Bryan Young presents a new approach to spatial design that explores the intersections of form, type, and material. Through a selection of innovative houses completed between 2015 and 2020, as well as other projects, Young Projects demonstrates its unique interest in using ambiguity and anomaly to create novel spaces. The studio's experimental approach to materiality and spatial legibility is evident throughout the book, with a focus on immersive spatial experiences that unfold over time. The author's process often begins with simple exercises in making, such as form-finding experiments and material research using unconventional methods. This book provides a unique insight into Young Projects' work, showcasing its innovative approach to architecture and design.
