Description
Wrapped in Rugby is a light-hearted memoir that takes readers on a journey through the author's rugby union experiences, both on and off the field. From his early days as a pupil at George Heriot's school in Edinburgh to his later roles as Secretary and General Manager of Heriot's Rugby Club, Douglas S. Bruce shares stories of his time playing rugby for various clubs and meeting famous international players.
The book includes anecdotes from Bruce's time at Mackie Academy FPRFC, where he met notable figures such as Andy Irvine and Gareth Edwards, as well as a remarkable story involving French Centre Jo Maso. With its unique blend of humour and insight into the world of rugby union, Wrapped in Rugby offers a fascinating glimpse into the author's life and experiences.
