Description
Ben K. Green's Wild Cow Tales tells the story of his adventures catching wild steers in thorny brush and canyon country. A specialty of the author, who calls himself a "stove-up old cowboy", these were years spent delivering animals that were too wily or too wild for the normal roundup. Green shares his experiences with readers, revealing the hard work and danger involved in finding and rounding up such livestock. With a down-to-earth tone, he reflects on his skills and the lessons learned from years of working in challenging terrain. This collection of thirteen stories offers a unique glimpse into the life of a cowboy who made a living catching wild cows.
