Description
White Feminism challenges long-held assumptions about the history and purpose of feminism. Koa Beck examines the evolution of feminist discourse, from its origins to its current state, with a critical eye.
Beck's analysis reveals how elitism and racial prejudice have shaped the narrative of feminist thought, often marginalizing the experiences of women of color and other underrepresented communities. She draws on primary research, cultural commentary, and personal stories to shed light on these overlooked struggles for social change.
This thought-provoking book offers a fresh perspective on the struggle for women's equality, encouraging readers to rethink their understanding of feminism and its role in creating a more just society.
