Description

Wash Belly is a nostalgic look back at Gregory McEwan's childhood in 1970s Jamaica. As the youngest child, he was affectionately known as "Mommy's Wash Belly" due to his role as the last of several siblings.

Growing up with his older siblings and their adopted grandparents, Banka and Miss Dell, provided a unique blend of laughter, good times, and challenges. Despite the ups and downs, the siblings shared a common dream: to one day move to Canada.

This memoir takes you back in time to Trelawny, Jamaica, where life was filled with love, tears, and sorrow. With its warm and engaging tone, Wash Belly offers a glimpse into Gregory McEwan's formative years and the experiences that shaped him into the person he is today.
