Description

Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography by Victoria Price is a unique and intimate look at the life of Hollywood legend Vincent Price. Spanning sixty-five years, Price's career as an actor, art historian, collector, gourmet chef, and author was marked by his elegance and erudition, leaving a lasting impact on American culture. Born to Price in 1941, Victoria grew up with her father as a larger-than-life presence, despite the demands of his busy film schedule. The deep bond between them endured, even amidst challenges from Price's third wife. This biography is based on over a year of conversations between Price and his daughter, offering a complex, human, and humorous portrait of a man who defied genre conventions. Through her father's eyes, Victoria Price reveals the multifaceted personality behind the iconic screen presence, one that was both actor and art lover, gourmet chef and bestselling author.
