Description

Anna Gurton-Wachter's Utopia Pipe Dream Memory is a poetry collection that explores the boundaries between embodiment and voice, identification and materiality. Through a series of slow, attentive narratives, she envisions a space of play and ecstatic influence, drawing on the work of key feminist thinkers.

The book delves into the tension between what is animal, what is describable, and what can be made to appear, pushing towards a unified dispersal that rethinks the sociology of the imagination. With its lush and evocative language, Utopia Pipe Dream Memory offers a new wave of feminist thinking where subject and object are erotic enablers.

With its mesmerizing similitudes and divergences, this collection tugs at perception and invites the reader to consider desire's embodied visions. A unique and captivating work that rethinks the possibilities of narrative and imagination.
