Description

A poignant collection of poetry inspired by photographs of the poet's father, serving in the desert war during World War II. The poems explore themes of identity, belonging and the complexities of male relationships, set against the backdrop of migration and cultural heritage. The collection delves into the personal experiences of the poet's father, as well as his own reflections on family, memory and creativity. Through imagery-rich poetry, Seni Seneviratne draws connections between past and present, exploring the ways in which our lives are shaped by those who came before us. With its thoughtful exploration of universal themes, this collection offers a powerful and moving reading experience.
