Description
Blaxton Hill is said to be haunted by the ghost of a tragic bride-to-be who died in a motor accident on the hill many years ago. One night, Richard Wentworth gives a lift to a pale young woman waiting passively by the roadside, only for her to vanish from his moving vehicle. The shock sends him careening off the road, but his physical injuries are slight beside the affront to his world view. As he struggles to make sense of what happened, the ghost girl continues to haunt his dreams, imploring him to 'take the ring'. Feeling compelled to find out what it all means, Richard becomes increasingly preoccupied with the girl on the hill. However, those closest to him begin to express concerns that he may be losing his mind. As the mystery deepens, Richard's obsession grows, and he finds himself at the centre of a complex web of events. With the ghost girl's presence still felt, he must navigate the blurred lines between reality and the supernatural to uncover the truth behind her tragic fate.
