Description

A summer weekend in the countryside, at a friend's house, marks the first anniversary of Tony's death. John, Marian, and Lyle, his brother, cousin, and old friend, reunite for a poignant occasion. The peaceful gathering is disrupted by the presence of an unexpected guest, a young painter now dating Lyle. As each of the three friends struggles to come to terms with their loss, they must find ways to move forward.

The traditional rituals of summer - a swim in the lake, a dinner party with guests, or a nighttime stroll - are now tinged with the memory of their absent friend. Each of them must navigate their own way of coping with the absence and finding a new sense of normalcy.
