Description
Truth and Reality explores the relationship between an individual's inner world and outer reality. Otto Rank argues that traditional notions of "truth" are less relevant in therapeutic contexts, instead focusing on the creative power of will.
Rank develops his theory of will psychology, which posits a fundamental conflict between negative externalization of will and its positive expression. This conflict is reflected both within individuals and throughout human history.
This book delves into the psychological determinants of this relationship, shedding light on how our inner experiences shape our perceptions of reality.
