Trouble is what people in this town expect from me. But I'm content to keep to myself and mind my own business to make it through senior year at high school. That was until I met James Warner, our English teacher. He's a bit of an oddity - charming, witty, vulnerable, and protective all at once. Our first encounter was awkward, but he quickly put me at ease. As we spend more time together, I find myself drawn to him in ways I don't understand. I've never felt this way about anyone before, especially not a straight teacher. But the more time we spend together, the more I sense that something is changing between us. It's as if our interactions are becoming more than just casual - they're developing into something more. The problem is, I know it can't be. We have too much to lose. Despite knowing this, I find myself wanting to explore what might happen between us. But for now, we'll just have to accept that some things are trouble with a capital T.
