Description
Three new plays for young people inspired by the art of Paula Rego, commissioned by Theatre Centre and Komedia.
Theatre maker Fiona Graham has drawn inspiration from the Portuguese visual artist's paintings to create a trilogy of plays that explore themes of identity, community and change. Through a series of artist/audience residencies and collaborations, these three new works have been developed for specific audiences and toured Britain, Portugal and Singapore.
The resulting plays offer fresh perspectives on universal themes, from the challenges of growing up to the importance of creative play in navigating adversity.
