Description

Transforming Behaviour: Pro-social Modelling in Practice by Sally Cherry is an essential guide for professionals working with offenders and others who need to promote positive behaviour. This updated edition provides practical guidance on pro-social practice, drawing on evidence-based theory to inform effective work. Pro-social modelling is a powerful approach that involves workers acting as positive role models to encourage good behaviour and attitudes. It has been widely recognised as a key factor in successful work with offenders in the Probation Service, Youth Justice, and Prison Service, as well as in other fields such as social work, youth work, healthcare, education, and management. With its new chapter featuring real-life case studies, this book offers valuable support and guidance for managers and practitioners looking to implement pro-social practice.
