These machines were not only used on farms but also at fairs and other events, entertaining audiences with their power and grandeur. Although the traction engine's popularity declined after the First World War, they have left a lasting legacy, with many preserved machines still in use today at steam fairs and vintage events, providing a glimpse into a bygone era of innovation and ingenuity.
