Description
Tintin in the Congo is the 22nd adventure in the series of 24 Tintin stories created by Hergé. Originally published in serial form in a Belgian newspaper from 1929 to 1930, the story was later published in book form in 1931. This English language edition, translated from the original French version, features the full-length story with colour illustrations. The book includes the revised version of the story, published in colour by Casterman in 1946, and a previously redrawn page from the original serial. Hergé's portrayal of the Belgian Congo reflects the colonial attitudes of the time, which may be considered sensitive by today's readers.
