As they investigate, another murder takes place, and severe weather hits the island, making Rebecca ideally placed to uncover the truth about what happened that night.

The story begins with a mysterious phrase - "Thunder Bay" - which was Mhairi's final words before her death. According to local lore, this secluded spot on the west coast of the island is where the souls of the dead set off into the afterlife. As Rebecca and Chazz delve deeper into the case, they must navigate a complex web of secrets and lies.
