Description

Those Darn Squirrels! by Adam Rubin is a humorous tale about an old man and his mischievous backyard visitors. A grumpy old man spends his days painting pictures of birds, but they fly south every winter, leaving him feeling lonely. To keep the birds from departing, he sets up bird feeders filled with seeds and berries, but the squirrels have other plans. They make a daring raid on the feeders, causing chaos until the birds leave as usual. The squirrels then come up with a plan that charms the old grump, leading to an unexpected friendship. This charming story is part of a series by Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri, featuring three funny picture books: Those Darn Squirrels!, Those Darn Squirrels and the Cat Next Door, and Those Darn Squirrels Fly South.
