Description
The Wrong Cheese by David Morton is a heartwarming story about life in a large lake and the adventures of Morris the Mirror Carp. As an old carp, Morris has settled into a peaceful routine, searching for cheese to graze on the gravel lake-bed. However, his tranquility is disrupted when Queen Thea asks him to investigate the decline of the fish population and potential tensions with the Pikes. Morris embarks on this quest with Kenzo, her royal bodyguard, and Tina, the royal princess, by his side. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they encounter Gaspard, the King of the Pike's, who is struggling to maintain control over his kingdom. With tensions rising, Morris must navigate the complex web of relationships between the lake's inhabitants to uncover the truth. Join Morris and his friends as they work together to unravel the secrets of Lily Lake and find out what's behind the decline in fish numbers.
