Description
Lucas Pereyra embarks on a day trip from Buenos Aires to Montevideo in search of fifteen thousand dollars in cash, an advance due to him on his upcoming novel. This unexpected windfall might be the solution to his problems, particularly the unbearable tension he feels with his wife.
As Lucas navigates this pivotal day, he is also haunted by thoughts of a Uruguayan woman he met at a conference several months prior. A chance encounter that has become an all-consuming fantasy, she represents the one thing that keeps him going in his mundane life.
This gripping narrative explores the complexities of relationships and the human condition, weaving together elements of comedy and pathos to create a deeply moving story about love, longing, and the search for connection.
