Description

The Way of the Disciple by Erasmo Leiva-Merikakis This book explores six key Gospel scenes to reveal the essential elements of Christian discipleship. It delves into the importance of becoming receptive to God's Word, allowing Him to shape and mold us as He sees fit. The role of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is also examined, highlighting her vital position in the lives of his disciples. At the heart of discipleship lies a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus, as described in Mark 3:14-15. This relationship is not about mere activism, but about a life of prayer and adoration. The author argues that true discipleship is rooted in a life of prayer, and that this is the foundation upon which the active apostolate is built.
