Description
The Visit is a mystery novel that takes readers to the north east coast of Scotland, where they meet Charles, an English businessman visiting his son in Cuilly. As he settles into village life, he encounters a cast of characters, including Patti and her sister, local fishermen, retired teachers, and weekenders.
When Jack, a local hero, goes missing, Inspector Sim is called to investigate. The case takes an unexpected turn when the body is found, but the mystery remains unsolved until Flora, a quiet elderly resident, reveals a crucial clue that helps Inspector Sim piece together the puzzle and uncover the truth.
With its unique blend of characters and setting, this gripping mystery will keep you guessing until the very end. Will the inspector be able to unravel the tangled threads of the case? You'll have to read The Visit to find out.
