Description
In 1576, Venice was still reeling from the Battle of Lepanto. A mysterious ship arrived with a deadly cargo, bringing bubonic plague to the city. Amidst the chaos, a young woman named Feyra, a skilled harem doctor, found herself fighting for survival. Disguised as a man, she had stowed away on the ship in an attempt to escape her future as a concubine. As the plague ravaged Venice, the Doge commissioned renowned architect Andrea Palladio to build a magnificent church to save the city. However, Palladio's own life was in danger, and it would require the expertise of medico Annibale Cason to keep him alive. Feyra, now under Palladio's protection, brought more than just medical skills - she also taught him how to care for others. This gripping historical love story weaves together themes of survival, loyalty, and redemption in 16th-century Venice.
