Description
In an alternate world where resurrection is possible, the boundaries between life and death are blurred. In 1916, Anne Markham reuses the bodies of the dead to create new forms, sending them back into combat. This process gives rise to creatures that defy human understanding, existing in a realm beyond pain or thought. These beings are not what they once were, for all flesh has an afterlife. From this perspective, can we not see ourselves as angels, guiding the fallen from one form to the next? The result is a world where death is no longer absolute, and the concept of existence is reworked. In "The Talosite", Rebecca Campbell explores a realm where science and horror converge, creating a unique and unsettling narrative that challenges our understanding of life and death.
