Description
The Shard, London Bridge Tower, is a 306m-tall vertical town that has become a landmark in London's skyline. This book tells the story of its creation, from initial design to final completion.
Renzo Piano shares his personal account of this extraordinary project, accompanied by exclusive sketches, plans, and photos from the building site. The book also includes behind-the-scenes stories from those who worked on the tower.
A second edition of the book features additional information about the News Building, London Bridge bus station, and a new public piazza as part of the London Bridge Quarter development.
