Description
Jimmy Connors' autobiography is a raw and unflinching account of his life as a tennis player. Born to be brash and outspoken, Connors took the sport by storm with his fiery personality and determination to win. With 109 tournament victories, including eight Grand Slam singles titles, he rewrote the record books. But this is no sanitized sports biography. Instead, Connors pulls back the curtain on the highs and lows of his career, revealing the intense rivalries, passionate romances, and unorthodox partnerships that defined his time on the court. From the tumultuous relationships with John McEnroe and Ilie Nastase to his enduring love affair with Chris Evert, no stone is left unturned in this candid and humorous memoir. With its hard-hitting honesty and infectious passion, Jimmy Connors' autobiography is a worthwhile read for anyone who loves tennis or enjoys a good underdog story.
