Description

The Swords of Heaven, The Flowers of Hell is a comic adaptation from acclaimed fantasy author Michael Moorcock. In this story, Erekosë assumes the role of "Clen of Clen-Gar", a noble of the land called the "Dream Marches". He befriends a peaceful race of beings known as "Angels", who can best be described in one of their forms as flying manatees. These Angels float through Heaven during the day, absorbing water vapour from the air, and release it as acid rain upon a neighboring land called Hell at night. The angels also assume an insectoid form similar to human-sized ant-men. This unique world is part of a greater land called "Heaven", where the inhabitants live in luxury compared to the poverty-stricken land of Hell. This adaptation brings Moorcock's fantasy world to life through Howard Chaykin's artwork, offering a glimpse into a fascinating and imaginative realm.
