The Men at My White Table: a Collection

The Men at My White Table A Collection by Matilde Tomat is a poignant and introspective collection celebrating 20 years of creativity. This unique book brings together a diverse range of works, including photographs, poems, and short stories, each carefully curated to showcase the author's distinctive voice. The collection features 12 photographs from four different projects, as well as 11 newly translated Italian poems that have been enhanced by their inclusion in photographic exhibitions. A rare excerpt from Matilde Tomat's book "Oltra la Noda" is also included, offering a glimpse into her personal and emotional world. The five short stories, written in English since the author moved to the UK in 2008, invite the reader on a journey through time, exploring the boundaries between the personal and universal. Through this collection, Matilde Tomat shares her vision of simplicity and devoidness, seeking to represent the ephemeral boundary between pain and eternity. With its unique blend of photography, poetry, and short stories, The Men at My White Table A Collection is a thought-provoking and deeply human work that invites readers to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.
