Description
The Long Con Vol. 2 by Dylan Meconis and Ben Coleman is a humorous comic novel set in a post-apocalyptic world. Journalist Victor Lai and his friend Dez Delaney navigate a crowded convention floor, searching for a way out of their predicament. Along the way, they discover a resistance movement of cosplaying superheroes led by Helvetica Caslon. As they try to convince the Special Guest to give up the utopia he's created, Dez and Victor face numerous obstacles, including surreal panel rooms, personality cults, warring fandom factions, and biased gatekeeping systems run by pedantic internet trolls. The fate of this convention hangs in the balance, threatening to doomsday. In this second volume of a comic convention apocalypse adventure series, action and hilarity continue as Dez and Victor try to outsmart their challenges and find a way out.
