Description
In 2031, global warming has ravaged the planet, wars have swept the globe, and pollution threatens to finish everyone off. In response, science has declared reincarnation a fact, and death houses have sprouted up in overcrowded cities. The 'Last Resorts' offer a way out, but with one rule: once checked in, the check-out is feet-first only. Ansel Grayson has been a resident at the Hotel Terminus for over twelve years, unable to take the final step. His chance to leave arrives when he's interrupted by Nikki Forlan, the latest addition to the guest list. As their check-outs loom, Ansel and Nikki find themselves drawn together, searching for a reason to live before they die. Their story is one of desperation, hope, and the human need to connect in the darkest of times.
