Description
A Renegade Pilot's Dilemma Jordan McKell has a problem with authority. To survive in a galaxy controlled by the powerful Patthaaunutth, he takes on smuggling jobs for outlaw concerns that represent the last vestiges of free trade. When hired to fly a mysterious ship and its cargo to Earth, Jordan jumps at the job, despite his lack of caution. The Icarus, the ramshackle ship he's hired, is crewed by a ragtag group of individuals picked up off the street. The cargo is secret, sealed in a special container that takes up most of the cramped and ill-designed ship. As Jordan navigates this precarious situation, he begins to uncover clues about the true nature of his cargo, aided by a beautiful crew member. With enemies closing in on all sides, including the authorities on Earth who are pressured to turn them in, Jordan and his alien partner Ixil become fugitives. Their only chance is to stay one step ahead of their pursuers as they try to make it home.
