Description
The Hidden River by Diego Arandojo and Jorge Fantoni is a graphic novel that delves into the world of esoteric groups in Buenos Aires. In 1920, Argentine author Roberto Arlt wrote an essay about his experiences with these groups, which serves as the starting point for this story. Fausto Dumrauf continues Arlt's work, investigating and collecting anecdotes about secret societies that extend to entangle some of the most notable occultists of the 20th century. As he researches, Dumrauf uncovers a hidden river on the Río de la Plata, whose waters can have either healing or maddening effects. The dark illustrations by Jorge Fantoni bring the story's cartography to life. This graphic novel weaves together disparate threads of mystery and conspiracy, inviting readers to unfold their own journey into the world of secret societies and occultism.
