Description
Ed Stephens' life has been filled with promise and reality. In his previous adventures, he's learned about building a successful relationship and navigating the challenges that come with it. Now, as he waits for his partner Rick Benton to return home from Indianapolis, Ed must reevaluate what he wants from their marriage. Their time apart has given Ed time to think about the future, but when unexpected events force him to question their relationship, he turns to those closest to him - including Mrs. Hilda Penfield, a wise and supportive mentor who offers words of wisdom. As Ed navigates the complexities of gay life in the early 1980s, he must also confront his own doubts and fears. With the support of his loved ones and a soundtrack of timeless pop classics, Ed continues to explore the mysteries of love and life with Rick Benton. A heartwarming story about the ups and downs of relationships, The Handyman's Promise is a thoughtful exploration of what it means to build a life together.
