The Faculty Lounge: A Novel by Jennifer Mathieu A humorous and heartwarming adult debut that explores the complexities of school life, The Faculty Lounge follows a cast of teachers, administrators, and staff at a Texas high school. When an elderly substitute teacher is found dead in the faculty lounge, the incident sets off a chain of events that reveals the lives of those involved. As the story unfolds, Mathieu skillfully weaves together the personal struggles and quirks of her characters, creating a narrative that is both humorous and poignant.
