Description
A new religion is growing rapidly in the System of Federated Nations, promising eternal life to those who join. However, this comes with a catch: you must be killed first. Millions have had their brains transferred into advanced cybernetic bodies, making them immortal. But there are whispers that the new converts may not be as willing as they seem. Avery Cates, a low-life contract killer, is on the run from the System Cops and faces an uncertain future. His only chance to redeem himself lies in taking out the head of the Electric Church. Yet, he must also contend with the super-augmented cybernetic Monks who patrol the streets, ever vigilant for those who would seek to harm them. In this gripping science fiction thriller, Cates' path is fraught with danger and uncertainty. Can he survive long enough to complete his mission, or will the Electric Church prove to be a fatal attraction?
